A promising Russian tank support fighting vehicle (BMPT) using the technologies of the Armata tracked platform will become more versatile and solve the problem of delivering personnel thanks to the troop compartment.
One of the drawbacks of the serial BMPT "Terminator" is the complete absence of a troop compartment. Therefore, the use of the BMP T-15 hull would significantly increase the flexibility and versatility of the design.
The heavy BMP T-15 was demonstrated back in 2015. The vehicle weighing more than 50 tons can carry a combat module with a 30 mm automatic cannon ("Boomerang-BM") or 57 mm (AU220M "Baikal") and missiles.
How many T-15s have been produced to date is unknown. The developer is the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering, the manufacturer is Uralvagonzavod.
