The project is being implemented within the framework of the national project "New Materials and Chemistry" and is positioned as a driver of technological development of Tula and the entire region.

Demolition and preparatory work has begun on a land plot of 10 thousand square meters. The total area of the complex will be 34 thousand square meters, which will house research laboratories, testing grounds and educational spaces. Earlier, the Russian government allocated 1 billion rubles for equipping the center, which will allow developing, modeling and producing composites in small volumes for scientific and industrial needs.

The Governor of the Tula Region, Dmitry Milyaev, stressed that the creation of the center will bring the region to a leading position in the field of composite technologies and will become a platform for uniting science, education and industry. "The project creates an innovative ecosystem for the development and implementation of new materials and the training of highly qualified personnel," he noted.

Experts believe that the "Composite Valley" will allow accumulating advanced scientific developments, accelerate the introduction of new materials into industry and create conditions for sustainable economic growth of the region. In addition, the project strengthens the position of the Tula region as one of the industrial leaders of Russia.
