Programs included in the Unified Register of Russian Software will ensure data processing, display, and registration

On September 5, 2025, FSUE "Rosmorport" completed the transition of the vessel traffic management systems (VTMS) of the Azov-Black Sea Basin Branch to domestic software and hardware. The work affected the VTMS of the Kerch Strait, Sevastopol, Feodosia, Novorossiysk, and Tuapse.

The project was implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of Russia No. 166 dated March 30, 2022, and the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1912 dated November 14, 2023, aimed at ensuring technological independence. The contractor was JSC "Sitronics," which implemented the Russian software "SiTraffic" and "SiPort." These programs, included in the Unified Register of Russian Software, ensure data processing, display, and registration. Previously, similar software was successfully implemented in the port of Sochi, after which it was extended to other VTMS in the region. The work was carried out without stopping the operation of the ports, which allowed maintaining the stability of maritime communication.

The transition to domestic software became part of the program of the Industrial Competence Center "Sea and River Transport." The project is aimed at improving the safety and independence of the operation of seaports in the Azov-Black Sea basin.
