Угольный терминал «Суходол» во Владивостоке начал работу

The terminal is designed for transshipment of coal from railway transport to sea vessels, as well as for handling general cargo

Rosmorrechflot has issued a permit for the commissioning of the water area of the Sukhodol coal terminal of the Vladivostok sea port in the Primorsky Territory. The work on creating the transshipment harbor made it possible to ensure the entry of vessels with a draft of up to 15.4 m.

Since 2020, dredging works have been carried out for the construction of the terminal, during which dredgers of FSUE Rosmorport and a contractor extracted more than 7 million cubic meters of soil. The design depth of the water area varies from 5.91 m at the port fleet pier to 17.19 m in the approach channel. At the berths for coal transshipment, the depth reached 16.47 m, at the universal berth — 8.78 m. The works were carried out by the dredger "Severnaya Dvina" and the dredger caravans "Primorets" and "Sakhalinets".

The Sukhodol terminal, located in the area of Telyakovsky Bay, is designed for transshipment of coal from railway transport to sea vessels, as well as for handling general cargo. The design capacity of the terminal is 12 million tons of coal per year, with the prospect of increasing to 20 million tons. Sorting and preparation of goods are possible in closed storage areas.

FSUE Rosmorport will continue to maintain the navigational parameters of the water area by carrying out regular repair dredging. The terminal was launched at full capacity on September 4, 2024 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the Eastern Economic Forum.
