S7 Airlines has refused to transfer idle Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo aircraft to foreign carriers, despite interest from Egypt and the Philippines. This was reported in the company's press service.
(S7) is not negotiating and has no intention of negotiating the transfer of Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft to any foreign companies.
Airlines AlMasria (Egypt) and SEAIR Int (Philippines) showed interest in Russian aircraft. The aircraft were planned to be bought through an intermediary or leased up to five aircraft.
Currently, S7 has 39 idle Airbus A320/321neo aircraft, of which only 11 are in operation. The reason for the downtime of the aircraft is problems with Pratt & Whitney engines. Their maintenance is impossible due to sanctions and the lack of necessary components on the Russian market.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the United States imposed new sanctions against Russian companies, including the Pobeda airline.
