The US Department of the Treasury has announced the imposition of new sanctions against Russia, including 29 individuals and over 250 legal entities in the lists. All of them are now prohibited from cooperating with American companies and financial institutions. The sanctions also affected Russian military structures, namely troops related to radiation, chemical, and biological protection (RCB protection), and 16 cargo ships under different flags.
Among the organizations sanctioned are Pobeda Airlines and several automobile plants, such as Ural, Bryansk Automobile Plant, Yaroslavl Motor Plant, and AO Remdiesel. The list also includes structures from the Sibanthracite group and other enterprises.
Astra LLC, the manufacturer of the Russian OS Astra Linux, was also added to the list, but the company itself took it calmly. According to the press service, the company does not consider the EU and the USA as destinations for foreign expansion.

We continue to develop a technological stack of Russian software that can replace Western solutions in the Russian market and the markets of friendly countries.
The sanctions list also includes many other companies, such as the Fryazino Plant of High-Power Transistors, the Lipetsk Mechanical Plant (LMZ LLC), the Kazan Plant Elektropribor, the Mars Scientific and Production Association, the Proton and Jupiter plants, and the 99th Aviation Technological Equipment Plant.
The list includes a number of organizations from Turkey and China, 3 companies from the UAE, 2 from Kyrgyzstan, and one each from Slovakia, Belgium, Singapore, Malaysia, and Azerbaijan. The Chinese "daughter" of Shvabe (part of the Rostec state corporation) — SHVABE OPTO-ELECTRONICS CO., LTD — was also added to the sanctions list. In total, the list includes about 60 foreign companies affiliated with work with the military-industrial sector and supplies.
In addition, the United States imposed sanctions against Russian military institutes and research organizations, including the Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense and the Murom Special Design Bureau. The list of sanctioned persons also includes a citizen of Azerbaijan.
