Bloomberg Agency, citing its sources, reported that the US Department of Justice is investigating the cryptocurrency exchange Binance – it is suspected of assisting Russians in circumventing US sanctions. It is noted that the investigation, about which nothing was publicly said, is being conducted by the department of national security of the justice department.

Previously, Binance was also accused of helping Iran evade US sanctions. Now Bloomberg writes that the crypto exchange is cooperating with the Department of Justice to resolve these claims. Binance itself assures that it “complies with all US and international financial restrictions”.

Recall that earlier Binance canceled money limits for Russians amounting to 10 thousand euros, introduced against the backdrop of sanctions.
