Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec, stated that it is planned to produce four import-substituted MC-21-310 aircraft with Russian PD-14 engines in 2025.
According to him, certification tests of the power plant are currently underway.
The PD-14 is currently undergoing certification testing as part of the aircraft. Next year, we should produce four serial machines with this engine already.
The head of the state corporation also clarified that in 2026, Rostec also intends to present 14 SJ-100 aircraft with the Russian PD-8 engine.
Deputy Managing Director of PJSC "Yakovlev" Denis Pridannikov stated that during the certification of MC-21-310 and SJ-100, the company regularly encounters new challenges for one reason or another, which it gradually solves together with suppliers.
