Specialists from RSC Energia and specialized Roscosmos enterprises have docked the "Progress MS-32" cargo ship with the adapter section of the "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle stage, which will put it into orbit. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
The adapter section performs 2 tasks:
▪️ mechanically connects the third stage of the rocket and the ship;
▪️ ensures the integration of the ship's command interface into the rocket's onboard control system.
The work was carried out in the assembly and test building of site 254 at the technical complex of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Currently, the verification of all systems and pre-launch preparation for the flight to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the 93rd supply mission is being completed.
The "Soyuz-2.1a" will launch with the "Progress MS-32" ship on September 11. It will deliver food, equipment and the latest spacesuits to the ISS.
