The Pantsir-ME naval anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (SAM system) manufactured by the High-Precision Complexes holding has no blind spots. Such powerful installations are mass-produced for the needs of the Russian Navy, Rostec press service reported.
The SAM system has a radar-optical control system consisting of 3 radars (optical, long-range detection and target tracking). Thanks to this, the Pantsir-ME sees the attack object in detail, even parachutes.
The complex has a fully automatic mode of operation with the possibility of adjustment by the operator. The Pantsir-ME has a modular design principle - it can be installed on warships of various classes.
The SAM system is capable of repelling a massive air strike, as well as shooting down targets at extremely low altitude. The Pantsir-ME is designed to eliminate air, sea and ground targets and can fire at several at once.
The state corporation called the main feature of the complex. It turned out that this is "the only system in the world whose turret combines both artillery and multi-mode missile weapons."
