The technology is planned to be integrated into the development of MC-21, SSJ-100, and Il-114 aircraft

Specialists from Rostec, including ONPP "Tekhnologiya", have created flexible cells that can be used in the production of aviation components, such as fuselage fairings and wing leading edges. The technology is planned to be integrated into the development of MC-21, SSJ-100 (Superjet), and Il-114 aircraft. The company is known for its fillers of various shapes, including rectangular ones, which are used in aviation, space, and other industries.

A filler is a polymeric material with a specific shape and size, used to fill cavities or spaces between structural elements. After the composite material has hardened, the filler is removed, leaving the formed cavity or the required geometry.

Aviation honeycomb fillers are made of aluminum, fiberglass, aramid fabric, and carbon fiber.

The use of filler allows creating complex shapes and structures with high precision and repeatability. It provides the necessary support and shape stability during composite curing, preventing deformation and shrinkage. In addition, the use of filler can significantly reduce the labor intensity of the molding process, as it simplifies the process of laying composite materials.
