"Drone for \"Pantsir\" is too small a target": Military pilot pointed to the lack of airfield protection

The perimeter of an average airfield is 40km, the size of an FPV drone is 17 cm

Currently, there are no guaranteed ways to protect military airfields from small drones. This was pointed out by military expert and retired pilot Fighterbomber.

According to him, FPV drones are too small a target for the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM). The military pilot clarified that the issue with fiber optic drones has not been resolved.

Let me remind you that the perimeter of an average airfield is 40km. The size of an FPV drone is  17 cm. It is clear that we will come up with something here too. The question is, at what cost, and how soon.

In June, Fighterbomber published schemes of new anti-drone quick-erecting hangars for combat aircraft made of metal chain-link mesh, metal cables and profiles, and they have already begun to be built. Preliminary, the height of the hangar is 25 m, the length is 23 m, the width is 7.5.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the American Chevrolet Corvette C7 was presented in the color of the Su-57 fighter.
