The Russian main battle tank T-90M "Proryv" unexpectedly appeared on the poster of the American film The Long Walk, which will be released in theaters on September 12.
According to the plot of the film, in a dystopian USA, where a totalitarian regime rules, a group of young people participates in an annual walking competition in which they must maintain a speed of at least three miles per hour, otherwise they may be executed. The competition ends when only one participant remains alive.
The film is based on the 1979 novel of the same name by Stephen King.
About the T-90M "Proryv"
T-90M "Proryv" is a Russian main battle tank, a deep modernization of the T-90, equipped with "Relikt" dynamic protection, a new turret module, the "Kalina" fire control system, a 125-mm 2A46M-5 gun capable of firing guided missiles, and a 1130 hp diesel engine. The tank has a combat weight of about 48 tons and a crew of three people.
