Russia is building the world's largest electronic intelligence complex near Kaliningrad

The balance of power in the Baltic region may change

Russia has begun construction of the world's largest electronic intelligence complex in the Kaliningrad region. This was reported by domestic media and Telegram channels with reference to satellite images that appeared on the Web.

According to preliminary data, the new facility will appear 25 km from the Polish border and will become an important element in the Russian electronic intelligence system.

The strategic position of the complex allows monitoring NATO military communications throughout Eastern Europe, including Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and northern Germany.

Such complexes are necessary for analyzing a wide range of signals — from radio communications of military units to satellite communications. Antenna systems are capable of detecting and tracking low-orbit satellites, intercepting communications from any ground, air and sea targets.

The technical characteristics of the new product are currently unknown.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the first video of the MiG-31B flight at an altitude of 22 km appeared.
