American intelligence has recorded the deployment of Russian nuclear submarines in the Greenland area, in the Arctic and Barents Sea. We are talking about multipurpose ударных submarines of project 885 code "Yasen-M", the United States is sure. Submarines are capable of carrying dozens of крылатых and hypersonic missiles "Caliber" and "Zircon".
Submarines of the "Yasen-M" project are multipurpose nuclear submarines with improved combat power and stealth, designed to replace earlier projects of the Russian submarine fleet.
Cruisers are equipped with "Caliber" missile systems and hypersonic "Zircons", as well as a modern sonar system.
As of 2025, the Northern Fleet already has several such nuclear submarines, for example, "Kazan", which went to exercises in the Barents Sea.
Submarines of project 885 "Yasen" have a deep immersion zone, low noise level, vertical launchers for cruise missiles and torpedo tubes.
