In the next two to three years, an intelligent pilot assistant based on artificial intelligence will be introduced into Russian aircraft, according to Andrey Dutov, General Director of the National Research Center "Zhukovsky Institute".
According to him, it is a complex that is conditionally called the "AI co-pilot." It will act as a moderator of potential risks in flight and is capable of working, including on existing aviation equipment.
I think that in 2-3 years such a solution will be available.
The developed complex will make it easier for the pilot to perceive the huge flow of information, and to make the right decisions in time not only in the air, but also during taxiing.
The technology will expand the capabilities of the human eye, allow safe orientation in conditions of fog, limited visibility and at night, forming a processed image without visual interference on the screen.
The introduction of such solutions also opens up prospects for the development of fully autonomous control systems, which in the future may radically change the approach to the operation of both military and civil aviation equipment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the millionth titanium ingot for the construction of the MC-21 and SJ-100 was smelted in Russia.
