The Russian military is testing a new self-homing system for FPV drones. The corresponding video footage has been published online.
Testing is taking place as part of an internal initiative to increase autonomous combat capabilities.
Despite the fact that the technical details of the system are not disclosed, the footage shows the operation of the complex in conditions close to combat.
If the technology is put into service with military units in the near future, the capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces in terms of the use of strike drones will increase significantly.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia is building the world's largest electronic intelligence complex near Kaliningrad.
