The heavy flamethrower system "Solntsepyok" is a unique combat vehicle with no analogues in the world. This was stated by the press service of "Uralvagonzavod" (part of Rostec).
The concern also produces the heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepyok". Today, there are no full-fledged foreign analogues to it.
The volumetric "long-lasting" shock wave of the thermobaric projectiles of the "Solntsepyok" penetrates shelters and dugouts, filling all the irregularities and cracks in the landscape. Moreover, the high temperature of the explosion burns equipment and inventory.
A full salvo of TOS-1A covers approximately 40,000 square meters - almost six football fields.
