Sergey Gromak, Vice President for External Relations and Interaction with Shareholders of AvtoVAZ, said that a slight decrease in the key rate of the Bank of Russia has not yet affected the automotive market and does not allow the company to make objective forecasts.
According to Gromak, the current market situation remains volatile and changes rapidly. He noted that analysts give contradictory assessments, and therefore it is premature to draw any conclusions. The representative of the automaker stressed that a longer observation period is necessary to stabilize the situation.
Now a slight decrease has passed. So far, this has not affected the market - we need to look at a longer-term perspective. I will say this - analysts say different things [...] Therefore, it is too early to draw conclusions. The situation is too volatile, it is difficult to make predictions now.
Gromak also outlined a key condition for meeting market needs. In his opinion, the market will be fully provided if consumers have access to car loans, and businesses have access to leasing.
Currently, AvtoVAZ is discussing the plan and budget for next year. However, as the vice president stated, it is irresponsible to announce preliminary figures now, since the company is forming a significant demand for related industries, including metallurgy and radio electronics. The final figures will be formed later.
