The "City Cruise-1" ship of project 04240 has started operating on routes along the small rivers and canals of St. Petersburg. It is designed for excursion transportation of passengers. This was reported by the press service of the company "Neva Travel".
The vessel's design has been adapted for operation on the city's small rivers and canals. This allows it to successfully pass under low bridges.
The "City Cruise-1" ship is another step in the development of our excursion fleet. Every year we gradually update its composition: we design and build new catamarans of the "Kotlin" and "Sommers" projects, this year we launched winter navigation on "Snezhok" hovercraft for the first time, and now we are happy to present the long-awaited replenishment of the single-deck fleet.
The second vessel of project 04240 is planned to be put into operation during the 2025 navigation season.
Technical characteristics of "City Cruise-1" project 04240:
- Length - 21.8 m.
- Overall width - 5.58 m.
- Displacement - 40.21 t.
- Maximum speed - about 12 km/h.
- Passenger capacity - 90 people.

Earlierwww1.ru reported that the first catamaran of project 04710 "Sommers" for tourist transportation waslaunched in St. Petersburg.
