Росморпорт запустил буксирные и разъездные услуги в порту Зарубино

Powerful tugs "Aleut" and "Khasan" deliver cargo and people

In the seaport of Zarubino, a branch of Rosmorport has begun providing tug services and providing service vessels, the company's press service reports.

The tugs "Aleut" and "Khasan" are used for these operations. Each of them has a capacity of over 2 MW and provides a bollard pull on the stern hooks of up to 60 tons. Anchor-towing winches with a pulling force of 10 tons are installed on the bow.

In addition to towing, these vessels are used as service boats: up to 500 kg of cargo or up to 5 people can be transported on board simultaneously.

The seaport of Zarubino is located in the south of Primorsky Krai, in Trinity Bay on the coast of the Sea of Japan, in the area of the village of Zarubino. It is located close to the borders with the PRC and the DPRK, approximately 50 km from the borders of these countries, which makes the port an important transport hub for international trade between the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

The port is actively involved in the transshipment of marine bioresources, aluminum, lumber, containers, vehicles and heavy equipment. It is equipped with a railway line, road access and is close to the airport. The port has become part of the "Primorye-2" international transport corridor.
