The non-self-propelled floating structure is designed to provide mooring and berthing for "river-sea" class vessels

Arkhangelsk Ship Repair and Maintenance Base has successfully completed the construction of the floating pier "PP20" according to the "PONTON 28 × 12" project. The marine structure was built to the Register's class, and technical supervision of the construction was carried out by specialists from the Arkhangelsk branch of RS.

The floating pier "PP20" is a non-self-propelled floating structure designed to provide mooring and berthing for "river-sea" class vessels (within the size of a vessel of project 781, type "Baltic"). The vessel has confirmed compliance with all applicable safety requirements. It is intended to be used in the Blagopoluchiya Bay of the Solovetsky Archipelago from June to September, when the water area is free of ice.
