The Belgorod Tractor Plant (Rigel AV-Belgorod LLC) has released an upgraded KRT-1 tractor, which belongs to the category of shunting tractors.
The modernization of the tractor included replacing the cab with a more modern model made of non-combustible fiberglass. Improved noise and vibration insulation characteristics meet current safety standards. Changes were also made to the design of the attachments and the steering column, which is now equipped with an LCD display for ease of operation and control.
The KRT-1 wheel-reversing tractor is a universal shunting railway vehicle that is used to tow wagons, platforms and tanks to their loading point, as well as to prepare and work with other railway trains.
