The Russian company 3mx has developed the "Mars" reconnaissance drone detector, which tracks the operation of digital video links (video transmission devices) and drone operator consoles. This was announced by Sergey Shandobylo, Development Director of 3mx.
The "Mars" is based on the familiar "Bulat" design, but with a redesigned firmware that allows it to effectively work with digital video links.
He explained that the detector will detect a signal from Herelink-type transmitters. They are used in agro-drones and drones with a combat unit.
The detector's body resembles a radio. When an aerial threat appears, the type of UAV is displayed on its screen. The user is notified by sound and vibration.
Features of the "Mars" drone detector:
- Detection range of digital video links and ELRS consoles: up to 1.5 km;
- Battery life from one battery: up to 6.5 hours
- Battery type: lithium
- Charging port: DC 3.5 mm, USB Type-C;
- Headphone jack: Jack 3.5 mm
- Dimensions: 120 x 60 x 34 mm
- Weight: 300 g
