Yakutia Airlines Will Not Resume Flights to Alaska Until Sanctions Against Russia Are Lifted

The air carrier already has valid permits from Rosaviatsiya

Yakutia Airlines will not resume flights from Russia to Alaska until sanctions are lifted. At the same time, the carrier already has valid permits from Rosaviatsiya for flights between Russia and Alaska.

The press service noted that the cost of tickets will be calculated only for existing flights and depends on many factors.

Previously, the airline offered flights on the route Yakutsk – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Anchorage and back. In 2020, direct flights from Yakutsk to Anchorage were planned with an intermediate landing at the Yelizovo airport in Kamchatka.

Resumption of flights is possible only after the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation, the airline emphasized.
