According to the source, the country's Air Force aims to increase the number of fighter squadrons until the production of its own AMCA fighter begins by 2035.

Official discussions on the possibility of purchasing fighters from Russia and the United States have not yet begun. The Air Force will submit a proposal to the Indian government in two months, which will make the final decision.

Aviation experts are inclined to believe that only the French Rafale can truly compete with the Su-57 and F-35 in the matter of procurement.

The Russian Su-57 is the only fifth-generation fighter in the world that has proven its effectiveness in countering advanced air defense systems in real combat conditions.

The aircraft is characterized by low visibility to enemy radar and can use a wide range of guided high-precision weapons.
