The Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK) is capable of delivering combined strikes on targets, the Rostec state corporation said.
One of the options for using the complex is combined strikes by missiles with different warheads on one target.
This ensures the effect of multifactorial destruction. Given the perfect synchronization and high accuracy of strikes, the enemy has no chance.
The state corporation added that the OTRK ammunition flies along an unpredictable trajectory with high overloads and speed - anti-aircraft missiles simply do not have enough energy to catch up with it.
The characteristics of the system are constantly being improved, although in its class this product is already at the "high-end" level.
Also, Iskander is a mobile platform. Aiming and launching a missile takes a few seconds, so the position of the complex is difficult to detect before the missile launch.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of delivery of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
