An export fighter-bomber Su-34ME in a distinctive camouflage was spotted at Zhukovsky Airport. It is most likely that the aircraft is intended for Algeria, the footage appeared online.
Back in December 2019, Algerian media reported on the conclusion of export contracts with Russia for the purchase of 14 Su-34ME bombers, 14 Su-35E fighters, and 14 5th generation Su-57E fighters.
The deadline for the execution of all contracts was then indicated as 2025, but it is likely that deliveries for Algeria have been shifted to the right.
Su-34ME is a modernized version of the Su-34 multi-role fighter-bomber. The main difference between the Su-34ME and the basic model is the new electronic equipment, which significantly expands its combat capabilities.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of Su-57 fighter jets entering the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
