Part of the substance went towards Earth: an explosive plasma ejection was recorded on the Sun

The event covered an area with a diameter of about 500 thousand km — a third of the visible solar disk

A rapid and explosive ejection of plasma was recorded on the Sun, which affected several areas of the star at once. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI RAS.

According to the data received, the main center of the explosion was active region 4168, which is now located at a significant angular distance from the direction to Earth, but some of the secondary centers involved in the event are in dangerous proximity to the Sun-Earth line. According to observations of near-solar space, there are signs of part of the substance and magnetic fields moving towards the Earth.
