Roscosmos and NASA joined forces to solve the leak problem on the Russian segment of the ISS

The leak was reduced tenfold, but air loss is still ongoing

Roscosmos and the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are jointly working on issues related to depressurization in the transfer chamber of the Zvezda module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

This does not affect the life support of either the ISS or our cosmonauts. We are working out all the issues together with NASA, and they have no concerns
Dmitry Bakanov, General Director of the Roscosmos State Corporation

According to Sergei Krikalev, Deputy Head of Roscosmos and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation in Space, long-term observations have confirmed the ongoing air leak, but recent repairs have significantly slowed down this process.

All attempts to eliminate the leak, which became known in 2019, made in recent years, have failed to completely resolve it.
