Togliatti Automobile Plant plans to start producing affordable modifications of the Lada Iskra car at the end of August, when the company leaves its corporate vacation.

Sales of Lada Iskra started on July 20, 2025. Despite the fact that the first batch of cars has already been sold, dealers continue to accept pre-orders and book future deliveries. AvtoVAZ also announced plans to organize the production of Lada Iskra at the «Automobile Plant St. Petersburg» from September 2025, where up to 4,000 cars will be produced.
