The Russian military has used innovative individual homing munitions "Motiv," known as "arrows of death," according to military expert Vladislav Shurygin.
According to him, the combat elements of "Motiv" are equipped with infrared sensors that allow them to home in on targets with a thermal signature and penetrate armor more than 10 cm thick.
Shurygin said that the elements of "Motiv" are part of the cluster munitions of the Smerch and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems, as well as the PBK-500 glide bombs and RBK-500 cluster bombs.
"Smerch" and "Tornado-S" are formidable weapons in themselves. And now, long-range rocket systems have also received "smart" individual homing combat elements.
Earlier www1.ru reported that shares of JSC "Zvezda" are included in the authorized capital of the submarine manufacturer of the Yasen-M project.
