In the summer, scammers actively create phishing sites that mimic the pages of hotels, travel agencies, and children's camps. The vacation season increases the demand for such services, and attackers take advantage of this.
According to Angara Security, in the spring, fraudsters sent fake emails on behalf of Aeroflot. Victims were asked to fill out a questionnaire or join a video conference to steal their data. Now, scammers have switched to summer destinations. They create fake websites for children's camps, recreation centers, and tourist facilities. Sometimes they offer tickets to concerts and festivals, but instead, the victim receives malware.
Experts advise checking website addresses, not clicking on suspicious links, and not entering data on unverified resources.
