David vs. Goliath: Kalashnikov's High-Precision "KUB" Begins Destroying Tanks and Self-Propelled Guns

The loitering munition is distinguished by its low acoustic signature and ease of operation

The "KUB" guided munition manufactured by the Kalashnikov concern (part of Rostec) has begun to confidently destroy heavy tanks, self-propelled artillery units, and infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), the company said.

The "KUB" is equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead and is designed to engage lightly armored vehicles in tactical depth. The projectile is guided to the target using pre-known coordinates and can be used at any time of the day, with winds gusting up to 10 m/s.

The "KUB" is distinguished by its low acoustic signature, high stealth and speed of deployment of the complex, ease of operation, launch of the UB, and folding of the position.

Also, "KUBs" can be launched in groups — up to four munitions from one ground control point, the complex's control system transmits control commands in real time.
