AvtoVAZ has started selling a new model - Lada Iskra. The car is available in sedan, station wagon and SW Cross station wagon bodies. The first cars have arrived at dealerships in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Togliatti, and other regions will join in the coming weeks.
Lada Iskra is a B-class model that will occupy the niche between Granta and Vesta. Buyers have access to three versions of the 1.6-liter engine: 90 hp with a 5-speed "mechanics", as well as 106 hp - with "mechanics" or "automatic".
We expect that Lada Iskra will become a mass car for Russian families
The Comfort starting configuration (from 1.249 million rubles) includes front airbags and a stability control system. The top-end Techno version (1.579 million rubles) has heated seats and windows, cruise control, a rear-view camera and a Lada Enjoy Evo multimedia system with Yandex services and Internet access.
Since April 2025, the model has been assembled at AvtoVAZ facilities with a localization of more than 90%. The plant is ready to produce up to 150 thousand Iskra cars per year.
