The crews of the IMR-2 engineering vehicle are making passages in minefields. The equipment is equipped with a device for remote detonation of enemy mines with a magnetic fuse and electronic warfare equipment.
It was necessary to make a passage in the area that was mined using UAVs. Our installation activated the enemy's ammunition in advance. Drones constantly tried to attack, but electronic warfare successfully dealt with them: they fell without reaching the vehicle.
IMR-2, made on the basis of the T-72 tank, received bulldozer and crane equipment, and an installation for remote demining. The vehicle is designed for laying paths in difficult terrain, creating a passage in minefields.
Earlier www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
