Intelligence units of the Russian army have begun receiving 6P67 "Kord" assault rifles with balanced automatics, which have become an alternative to the AK-12. This was announced by the commander of an intelligence unit with the call sign Maloy.
According to him, the "Kord" has become a standard assault rifle. A 30-round magazine can be fired in a continuous burst, with minimal dispersion.
The bolt of the assault rifle moves together with the spring, which makes the 6P67 distinguished by its reduced recoil and high rate of fire.
The "Kord" was developed in a competition for a new general-purpose assault rifle for the Russian Army. As a result, the 6P67 surpassed the AK-12 in terms of accuracy when firing long bursts, but was inferior to it in terms of "price-quality" ratio.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the flagship of the Russian Navy, the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov", may be scrapped.
