The Russian army has begun to use naval modernized reactive bomb-throwing installations RBU-6000 "Smerch-2" of 213 mm caliber. The chassis of the T-80 tank was specially modified for them.

"Smerch" can hit at a distance of 5200 m with ammunition weighing 113.6 kg, capable of flying to targets at a speed of more than 1000 km/h.

The installations not only destroy enemy targets, but also have a serious demoralizing effect with their destructive power.

There are also versions of the RBU-6000 "Smerch-2" based on the T-72B, MT-LB tracked tractor-transporters, and Ural-4320 three-axle vehicles.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the production scale of the T-90M "Proryv" has become known — up to 300 tanks per year.
