Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) presented its developments on the project of digital transformation of shipbuilding at the All-Russian Conference "Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering – ITMash-2025".
Alexander Egorov, an expert from the bureau, spoke about digitalization and information modeling at Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau in the design of civil vessels.
Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau, together with USC, is working on creating a domestic shipbuilding system for automated design (CAD) of heavy class.
The main tasks of the project are the transition to Russian software, optimization of interaction between the designer, customer, construction plant, operator and regulator through work in a single digital environment.
The CAD system is based on an information model of the vessel with information about its elements, the complexity of work types, information about the cost of components and the most expensive operations.
