Kh-101 missiles for Tu-95MS and Tu-160 proved to be more versatile than American Tomahawk

Russian ammunition can carry a nuclear warhead

The main difference between the Russian Kh-101 cruise missile for Tu-95MS and Tu-160 bombers and the American Tomahawk is the ability to carry a nuclear warhead. This was stated by a military expert, historian of air defense (air defense) troops Yuri Knutov.

According to him, Kh-101 is, to some extent, an analogue of Tomahawk. Russia also launches ammunition from strategic aviation aircraft - Tu-160 and Tu-95MS.

The only difference from the American missile is that they can be used with both a nuclear warhead and a conventional one.
