The airline "KrasAvia" has added the Soviet An-24 to its fleet. After carrying out the necessary maintenance work, the aircraft was included in the production program, and it has already started operating flights.
The An-24 is characterized by high reliability and safety. An important advantage is the ability to fly in difficult meteorological conditions and take off and land at small airfields, which is relevant for the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, said Vladimir Artemenko, head of the engineering and aviation service of "KrasAvia."
"KrasAvia," like other regional carriers, is waiting for the arrival of TVRS-44 and LMS-901 aircraft, as well as the Il-114-300.
At the end of May, an An-24 aircraft of the airline "Angara," flying from Irkutsk to Kirensk, made a hard landing at the airport of arrival and rolled off the runway.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia is launching the Il-114-300 to replace the An-24: regional aviation is gaining support.
