Tanker "Astrakhan City" went for repairs at USC shipyard

Work on the vessel will be completed by the end of July 2025

At the production site of the "Southern Center for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair" (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC), the tanker "Astrakhan City" of project 630 was raised into a floating dock for repairs.

The vessel will be cleaned and painted, and metal structures will be replaced. Tests and repairs of bottom-board fittings, as well as anchor-mooring devices, are planned.

The single-deck, twin-screw tanker with a double bottom with a carrying capacity of 5000 tons is designed for the transportation of petroleum products of classes I and II with a specific gravity of 0.8 kg/m³ in river conditions, as well as petroleum products of classes III and IV, requiring heating.

Work on the tanker will be completed by the end of July.
