The Russian store RuStore has published a rating of the most popular applications and games for the first half of 2025. Russians are still actively downloading mobile services for solving everyday tasks, as well as games for recreation and entertainment.
Financial services still occupy leading positions among applications. The top five most downloaded include "SberBank Online", "T-Bank", "VTB Online", "Alfa-Bank" and Mir Pay. "Avito", OZON, "MegaFon", "Gosuslugi", WILDBERRIES and "VKontakte" were also popular. Among them, the MAX messenger stands out in particular, which showed the fastest growth in six months.
In the gaming world, multiplayer and survival projects have become the most popular. The leaders are Tanks Blitz, Grand Mobile, Cyber Evolution: Начало, the card game "Дурак Онлайн", the role-playing BLACK RUSSIA, as well as RPG and adventure games: Legends Reborn, Perfect World: Ascend and Last Day on Earth: Survival. Doomsday: Last Survivors from the Chinese studio IGG showed particularly impressive growth – in a month it attracted more than 100 thousand players.
Action games, simulators and multiplayer projects continue to hold the attention of the RuStore audience. More and more developers are trying to create accessible and exciting games that respond to popular trends and allow you to spend time with friends. At the same time, we are noticing a steady trend: users prefer in-game offers instead of paid downloads or disabling ads.
By the summer of 2025, the Russian application store RuStore had installed more than 100 million applications on users' devices. At the end of March 2025, the company announced the optimization of the mobile application loading process. The download speed increased by 24%.
