AvtoVAZ will assemble three trial Lada Niva Legend vehicles with a new engine, upgraded transmission, and suspension in July. For this purpose, three assembly kits have already been prepared at the production facility.
Among the changes are a modified clutch housing, a 5th gear of the secondary shaft, a steering knuckle and its dimensions, ventilated front brake discs, and a single-piston brake caliper.
New rear axle shafts and semi-axial differential gears have also been installed.
This suspension and transmission will begin to be installed on the Niva Travel as early as 2025, and on the Niva Legend in 2026.
