The latest "Whirlwind-1" missiles transferred by the Kalashnikov concern (part of Rostec) to the Russian Ministry of Defense will facilitate the work of Russian helicopter pilots. This was announced by military expert, Captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin.
According to him, "Whirlwind-1" is a modernized missile for helicopters, which is controlled and allows you to hit enemy objects, primarily armored ones, at a long distance day and night.
