Russia's activity in space and the North Atlantic is causing serious concern and anxiety. This was stated at a briefing by the Chief of the Defence Staff of France, Thierry Burkhard.
According to him, Russian submarines regularly enter the North Atlantic, and also appear in the Mediterranean Sea.
In addition, Burkhard claims that Russian satellites are allegedly used for "espionage." He spoke of signs that, in his opinion, indicate Russia's desire to "militarize space" with the help of specialized satellites.
The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, announced plans to create an orbital group of at least 300 spacecraft.
