AvtoVAZ has announced a reduction in the production volume of Lada Vesta cars in July 2025. The daily assembly program will now be 306 cars in two working shifts. Only 5967 cars will be assembled per month. Of these, 3128 will be sedans, 2827 will be station wagons, and only 12 cars will be Lada Aura.
Interestingly, the assembly of bodies for the subsidiary "Lada Sport" is not planned for this month. The reduction may be due to a drop in market demand or optimization of production processes, but details about the reasons and further plans of the company have not yet been disclosed.
Earlier, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, stated that the company would adjust the production plan for 2025. He emphasized that the drop in sales of passenger cars amounted to 30-35%.
