The West is trying to monitor the supply of components for military needs as part of monitoring compliance with anti-Russian sanctions. A photo has appeared online of a part manufactured by the Chinese company Suzhou Ecod Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which, it is claimed, was installed on the Geran-2 strike drone.
Judging by the photo, this is probably a fragment of the launch accelerator. According to the marking, the part was manufactured on May 25.
Ecod Precision Manufacturing manufactures CNC machine tools and provides milling services. In April, its representatives participated in one of the industrial exhibitions in St. Petersburg.
Chinese authorities have repeatedly stated that they do not violate sanctions and do not supply Russia with goods that can be used for military products. Moscow has emphasized that the Russian economy is coping with sanctions pressure, including in matters of production of equipment and weapons. Since 2022, the production of military products has increased many times over, and for some types of weapons, it has increased tenfold.
