Unification is an important part of production processes in the automotive industry. AvtoVAZ is not staying away from this trend. It allows accelerating the development of new models and reducing their production costs.
Certain components and parts from the flagship Lada Vesta will be used in the company's new models. In particular, this applies to the Iskra crossovers (sales start on July 20) and the recently introduced Azimut.
We are currently working with our domestic suppliers. Therefore, for example, the power unit control units for these models are common.
There is also unification in steering and braking systems.
Where we can use proven technical solutions, we use them. In particular, this has reduced the time and cost of developing these models. At the same time, we were tasked with creating models of a different class. Therefore, the new LADA models have many original positions, more than a thousand.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will establish the production of new versions of Lada Niva Legend and Lada Niva Travel with a unified chassis.
