A new heavy drone, the "Gorgon", has been developed for the Russian military, which is twice as fast as its main competitor, the "Baba Yaga" drone.
The new drone can lift up to 10 kg of payload, allowing it to carry powerful engineering charges and TM-62 mines.
With the help of the drone, you can destroy bunkers and even "disassemble" buildings: 10 kg is solid. Of course, the device is also suitable for remote mining. That's largely what it was created for.
Also, the "Gorgon" is useful for supplying advanced units, which the porters can only approach at the risk of their lives.
The drone's flight range with the possibility of return is 10 km. Moreover, the range of application will seriously increase if the payload of the device is reduced. In a dive, the maximum speed reaches 90 km/h. Therefore, it is much more difficult to hit the "Gorgon" from the same small arms.
